RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2017

The Royal Horticultural Society’s Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, supported by Viking Cruises, is the world’s largest annual flower show!  This family orientated Show covers 34 acres of ground, occupying both sides of the Long Water, in the grounds of Hampton Court Palace.

This year Garden Designer Juliet Sargeant has designed the RHS Kitchen Garden, which has been created to showcase a number of innovative methods used to grow edible plants.

James Basson and the M&G Garden

The M&G Garden was designed by James Basson and built by Crocus.  The M&G Garden was awarded a Gold Medal, the Best Construction Award, and Best in Show, at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2017.  I caught up with James Basson at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2017, to find out more about this special, award winning garden.

RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2016

The Royal Horticultural Society’s Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, supported by Viking Cruises, is the world’s largest annual flower show!  The Show covers 34 acres of ground, occupying both sides of the Long Water, in the grounds of Hampton Court Palace.

The Floral Marquee is 6,750 square metres in size – big enough to house an FA football pitch!  Here you’ll find an array of award-winning specialist nurseries, selling a diverse range of interesting and exciting plants.

Cleve West and the M&G Garden

Cleve West designed The M&G Garden for The RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2016.  The RHS judges awarded The M&G Garden a Gold Medal, and Swatton Landscape, who built The M&G Garden, were presented with The Best Construction Award.  This is a new award, the only one of its kind, which was presented for the first time this year, to recognise the importance, and the skill, of the contractors who work at The RHS Chelsea Flower Show, and to recognise the impact of their work in the finish of each of the Show Gardens.
