Juliet Sargeant and the RHS Kitchen Garden

One of the gardens that I was most excited to visit at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2017, was the RHS Kitchen Garden.

RHS Chelsea Flower Show Plant of the Year 2017

The RHS Chelsea Flower Show Plant Of The Year Award was first presented in 2010 to promote the continuing work of breeders and nurseries in producing improved new plants.  The RHS Chelsea Flower Show Plant Of The Year Award celebrates and recognises the exciting and diverse range of new plants which are launched at the Royal Horticultural Society’s Chelsea Flower Show each year.

Gardening Advice for Mid-August to Mid-September

The end of summer is often a magical time bathed in golden light and sunshine.  Here’s hoping the month ahead is a lovely time, there’s certainly a lot to do to keep you busy!

Vine weevils are a real pain, especially if you’ve got lots of container grown plants, the adult weevils damage plant leaves, leaving a notch-shaped, irregular edge to the leaves, resulting in a bit of a ragged looking, untidy plant.
