Mother’s Day Plant Fairs
There are also a number of plant fairs being held on Mother’s Day 2017, here are the details:
Friday 24th March 2017, Saturday 25th March 2017 and Sunday 26th March 2017 – Wisley Spring Plant Fair at RHS Garden Wisley, Woking, Surrey GU23 6QB. The Fair opens from 10am until 4.30pm on Friday, and from 9.30am until 4.30pm on Saturday and Sunday. Quality plants will be offered for sale from 30 different specialist nurseries, including rare and hard to find heritage plants. You’ll find nurseries selling summer flowering bulbs, roses, woodland, and alpine plants, cacti, and tropical perennials, climbers, herbs, and vegetables.

Saturday 25th March 2017 and Sunday 26th March 2017 – Bonsai (Suseki) Show at the Hillside Events Centre, RHS Garden Wisley, Woking, Surrey GU23 6QB from 10am until 4pm. Bonsai experts will be giving advice and information at this special show, which will also include plant and bonsai equipment sales, displays and growing information for beginners to experienced bonsai gardeners. The Wisley Plant Centre will also host their re-potting and styling and advice service for £5 per tree – visitors wishing to use this service should bring their bonsai trees to The Wisley Plant Centre by 11am on either Saturday 25th or Sunday 26th March 2017.

Saturday 25th March 2017 and Sunday 26th March 2017 – Gardens Illustrated Festival at Westonbirt School, Tetbury, GL8 8QG. Visitors to this special festival can enjoy visiting the gardens of Westonbirt School, where there’s an impressive line up of speakers, including Jekka McVicar, Ann-Marie Powell, Arne Maynard, Annie Guifoyle, James Alexander-Sinclair, and Roy Lancaster. Visitors will find 30 exhibitors inside the shopping marquee, including nurseries and exhibitors selling garden products. There’s an opportunity to ask the experts any questions you have, at the plant and design clinic.
