The Rose Gardens in Regents Park, London are fab – beautiful circular arrangement of climbers/ramblers on rope bowers & tall obelisks, plus large areas planted with shrub roses – picnic where you like among the rose scents.
NB This article says it lists rose gardens AND events – but I can see only long lists calendar events. This makes it hard just to scan an area just to find rose gardens to visit at any time – irrespective of whether there’s an actual ‘event’ or not.

      Hello Diane

Thank you for your message and great suggestions. I apologise for my slow reply, it has taken me a while to fix the events page as per your suggestion, but hopefully it will be much easier for you to navigate now.

Thank you also for reminding me about the Rose Gardens at Regents Park – I added Regents Park as soon as I saw your comment.

      Thank you for your suggestions.

      Kind regards and best wishes
      Beth

Thanks Beth! Just tried it out – much easier with long-running events section. Also enjoyed reading your ‘official’ account of the Regents Park Gardens too!
