The South of England Autumn Show & Horse Trials 2024 is on from 9am until 5pm on Saturday 21st September 2024, & Sunday 22nd September 2024 at the South of England Showground, Ardingly, West Sussex, RH17 6TL. Jenny Spiller will be opening her garden at Elworthy Cottage by prior appointment in February, Elworthy Cottage, Elworthy, Taunton, Somerset. TA4 3PX.  Snowdrops (all grown in peat-free compost) will be for sale and tea, coffee, and cake will be available. The garden is 12 miles north west of Taunton, on the B3188 between Wiveliscombe and Watchet. One acre garden with drifts of Snowdrops in grass and a growing collection of over 350 snowdrop named varieties.

Burnham Nurseries are holding an Orchid Terrarium Workshop on Saturday 17th February 2024. This workshop is a chance to build your own orchid terrarium! A whole terrarium kit is included in the half day workshop which will run from 1pm until 3pm. Learn how to construct an open orchid terrarium that you can take home and enjoy. You will also learn to maintain the terrarium.

The Hardy Plant Society Monmouthshire Group are holding this Zoom talk on Wednesday 17th January 2024 at 7.30pm (until 9pm). Amazing Orchid Stories By Trey Sanders from Orchid Botanics. Tickets are £4 for HPS members and £6 for non-members. Trey’s online business specialises in rare and unusual tropical plant species, with a focus on orchids. He’s passionate about orchids and will showcase many interesting varieties, share how they are grown and show flowers, treks, and wildlife from the amazing places he and his team visit.
