Saturday 28th February 2026 and Sunday 1st March 2026 – Great Dixter Winter Open Weekend from 11am until 4pm. Visitors can admire a lovely display of early spring flowers at Great Dixter; depending on the season, this could include snowdrops, crocus, hellebores, and primroses. The nursery and shop will be open, and they will be serving homemade soup, cakes and drinks. Don’t forget to visit the nursery for the chance to purchase gorgeous, peat-free plants at Great Dixter House and Gardens, Northiam, Rye, East Sussex, TN31 6PH. There is a Winter Interest Tour held on Saturday and Sunday, led by a member of the Nursery team. The tours last for one hour and start at 10am, during which time you will have the gardens to yourselves. Each tour is limited to 20 people, so that everyone has a chance to ask questions.
