On Sunday 6th September 2026, Coxbench Hall garden will be opening from 2.30pm until 4.30am for the NGS at Coxbench Hall, Alfreton Road, Coxbench, Derby, Derbyshire, East Midlands, DE21 5BB. Directions: 4m North of Derby, close to A38. After going through Little Eaton, turn left onto Alfreton Road for 1m, Coxbench Hall is on left, next to Fox & Hounds pub between Little Eaton & Holbrook. From A38 take Kilburn turn & go towards Little Eaton. Coxbench Hall is the former ancestral Georgian Home of the Meynell family. The gardens focus on sustainability, organic, and wildlife friendly themes. There is a tropical style garden, ponds, fruit, C18 potting shed, veteran yew tree, and hillside terraced garden with wildflowers and trees, a curved stone path incorporating reclaimed sleepers.
