Forde Abbey, Chard, Somerset, TA20 4LU, are opening from 10.30am until 4pm (last entry is at 3pm). Forde Abbey are teaming up with Shepton Snowdrops and some of the finest snowdrop gardens in Somerset to present to you The Great Snowdrop Gardens Trail of Somerset. As part of this special Snowdrop trail you can visit and enjoy the gardens at Forde Abbey from Wednesday to Sunday – from the 1st of February to the 28th. Marvel at the stunning display of the delicate white flowers spread across our drive, banks, and lawns, with clusters of snowdrops finding homes in the beds and borders in various parts of the garden. Admire naturalised Galanthus nivalis and a few named cultivars dispersed across the garden. The Abbot’s Table Cafe will be open, offering lunches, hot beverages, tempting cakes, and light bites. Gluten-free and vegan options available. There’s a discounted entry fee for this event: £10 for adults and £3 for children aged between 5 and 15 years.
