West Yorkshire Organic Group Potato Day will be held on Saturday 14th February 2026, from 10am until 2pm at Shipley College Exhibition Building, Exhibition Road, Saltaire, Shipley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, BD18 3JW. There will be 34 varieties on offer – the usual mix of first and second earlies and main crop tubers. Alan Roman, a potato expert from Scotland will be attending to offer advice on all things about potato growing, and to update us on potato seeds trials. There will be stalls and a cafe with light refreshments. Remember you need cash to pay for the cafe and for the potatoes, and bring your own bags/ envelopes for your tubers. Helpers appreciated early evening on the Friday and from 9am on the Saturday.
