On Thursday 3rd September 2026 at 11am (duration 90–120 minutes) – Houseplants – Next Steps Event at RHS Garden Rosemoor, Torrington, Devon, EX38 8PH. Growing plants in our indoor spaces is a very rewarding aspect of horticulture that can extend a passion for plants well beyond those that are suitable for growing outdoors. All plants need the correct regime of temperature, air, light and moisture to maintain healthy growth. Understanding how these requirements work together is an important factor in developing your skills with houseplants to enable increased confidence so that you can develop your very own indoor jungle! Jonathan Hutchinson, part of the RHS Curatorial team, will guide you through some propagation techniques so that you can expand your houseplant collection. This workshop is a perfect follow on from the Houseplants for Beginners workshop in February, designed to help you develop skills and confidence with your houseplants.
