Mickley Open Gardens is from 11am until 4pm on Sunday 14th June 2026, when approximately 20 private gardens will open in Mickley, near Ripon, North Yorkshire, HG4 3JE. Visit the beautiful lower dales village of Mickley with its fabulous collection of gardens laid out in a range of planting styles from pretty cottage borders and rose beds to architectural landscapes and wildlife havens. There will also be a barbecue and ice-creams. Teas, coffee, lunches, cakes and scones will be served in the Village Hall. NB: Please note that this is a cash only event due to the rural location and lack of mobile signal and Wi-Fi. All proceeds to the village church and St. Michael’s Hospice. There will be plants for sale – all grown by villagers. Tickets: £5 adults, accompanied under 16s free. Tickets can be bought on the day – cash only please. Visitors driving into the village will be directed to an event car park as they enter. If coming into the east end from North Stainley and West Tanfield side, the parking field will be on your right.
