Fingask Castle Garden Opening

Date: Monday 30 January 2023

Fingask Castle, Rait, Perth and Kinross, Scotland, PH2 7SA, will be opening from 10am until 4pm, for the Scottish Snowdrop Festival.  Fingask Castle garden is described as Scotland’s surrealist garden: spectacular topiary staggers across the garden bumping into stone globes, marble balls, statues and a figure of Alice in Wonderland.  Other literary and historical characters are scattered among the 17th-century pleasure gardens.  There are large drifts of snowdrops, daffodils and flowering shrubs in season.  Champion Trees: Pinus wallichiana (Bhutan Pine) and the handsome remnants of what was the largest walnut in Scotland.  More information, including information for disabled gardeners can be found here.
