On Saturday 6th June 2026 and Sunday 7th June 2026, The Dower House Garden will be opening from 10am until 4.30pm, for the NGS. The Dower House, Church Square, Melbourne, Derbyshire, DE73 8JH. I’m told there’s a beautiful view of Melbourne Pool from a balustraded terrace that runs along the length of this 1829 house. Garden drops steeply by paths and steps to lawn with herbaceous borders and a bank of some 60 shrubs. For all the details, please click here.
