Wightwick Manor Gardens, Wightwick Bank, Wolverhampton, West Midlands, Use this postcode for your SAT NAV: WV6 8BN.  Climbing roses are a feature of the gardens at Wightwick Manor.  A yellow ‘Banksia’ rose surrounds the Drawing room’s south bay.  Rosa glauca is planted to the right of the front door.  Rosa ‘Parkdirektor Riggers’ covers the posts in the formal garden and the scent from Rosa ‘Gertrude Jekyl’ always makes a trip to the kitchen garden worthwhile.  Look out for Rosa ‘Ingrid Bergmann’ with its deep passion red flowers; the soft pink coloured flowers of ‘Constance Finn’, and the while blooms of ‘Iceberg’.

Rosa ‘Queen Elizabeth’ was planted in the eight beds of roses on the path towards the Manor.  This particular rose was chosen as this area was restored in 2012 – the diamond jubilee year of Queen Elizabeth II.  Wightwick Manor Gardens are open daily from 10am until 5pm.  For more information about Wightwick Manor Gardens and info for disabled visitors, please click here.
