Shere Open Gardens & Plant Sale

Shere Open Gardens takes place on Sunday 23rd June 2024 from 2pm until 6pm.  The picturesque village of Shere near Guildford, in Surrey (off A25 halfway between Guildford and Dorking (SATNAV GU5 9HE) will be opening its garden gates and inviting visitors to view more than 15 private gardens to raise funds for Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care and local causes. There will be a fabulous plant sale and an over-the-wall gardeners’ question time at the allotments. There’s a Pimms Stall by the stream; while the parents from Shere School will be serving delicious home-made teas and cakes in the village hall. There’s free parking which will be signposted (GU5 9JA). Tickets can be purchased online now and are available on the day from the village carparks and village with cash or using contactless payment. Tickets are: adults: £8, over 65s: £7, children under 16: free.  Dogs are welcome in a few gardens (but not all!). For more information and to buy tickets, please click here.
