Bosham Open Gardens is on Sunday 9th June 2024 from 11am until 5pm. The picturesque village of Bosham has a beautiful setting on the edge of Chichester Harbour in Sussex, PO20 8NR. It is renowned for its ancient church and historic links with King Canute, King Harold and the Bayeux Tapestry This biennial event offers a rare opportunity to visit 20 private gardens in and around Bosham Village. There is something of interest for all gardeners including: Gardens on the harbour’s edge featuring coastal and wind-tolerant plants, Beautiful harbour views, More sheltered gardens in the village in a wide variety of styles and sizes, Rose gardens, Herbaceous borders, Organic vegetable gardens, Unusual container planting. Water features, Plant sales, Artwork and crafts for sale, Live music playing in the afternoon, Enjoy lunch in a waterside garden with a glass of wine – booking and prepayment required. Also waterside lunch at Bosham Sailing Club or lunch on-the-go at The Berkeley Arms. Afternoon teas, home made cakes and live music in the Tea Garden. All proceeds to Dementia Support. £10.00 per adult, accompanied under 14s free. Event passports are on sale at selected gardens and in Bosham Car Park on the day.
