Colesbourne Park Snowdrop Study Day

Colesbourne Park, Colesbourne, Near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL53 9NP, are holding a Snowdrop Study Day from 10.30am to 3.30pm on Tuesday 13th February 2024 where visitors can learn about snowdrops. Colesbourne Park’s snowdrop collection features over three hundred and fifty snowdrop varieties! Spaces are limited to 35 for this instructive and informative deep dive into snowdrops and winter/spring gardening. Below is the itinerary for the Study Day on Tuesday 13th February 2024: 10.30am: Assemble for coffee at Colesbourne Park (entrance via Gulf filling station on A435). A sales table will also be open. 11am: Talk: Dr John Grimshaw – “Revitalising Colesbourne Snowdrop and Arboretum Collections”. 12pm: Tour of the Garden with Katie Reynolds, Head Gardener and Sir Henry Elwes. 1pm: Lunch break: please bring your own refreshments or order at the nearby Colesbourne Inn or Old Rectory Restaurant. 2.15pm: Talk: Mary Keen “Snowdrops and Spring Colours”. 3pm: Question and Answer session. 3.30pm: Tea and biscuits.
