Burghley House Gardens, Stamford, Lincolnshire, East Midlands, PE9 3JY. Much of the grounds and parkland at Burghley House were designed in the eighteenth century by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown. Visitors can purchase tickets to visit Burghley’s private South Gardens, where daffodils are the stars of the garden in springtime. The gardens will be opening for the NGS on Saturday 11th April 2026 and Sunday 12th April 2026 from 10am until 4pm; there will be a plant stall at this opening.
