There are 12,000 spring flowering bulbs, including snowdrops and daffodils planted in the gardens at Chawton House; visitors can enjoy peaceful walks with undisturbed views of the Hampshire countryside. Chawton House will be open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 10am until 3.30pm. Admission to Chawton House includes entry to the House, the Gardens, and exhibitions. Chawton House is a Grade II* listed Elizabethan manor house in Hampshire. This historic property houses the research library of The Centre for the Study of Early Women’s Writing, 1600–1830.
