Angraecum moandense is an orchid species that hails from the rainforests of a wide range of exotic, tropical locations, including: Cameroon, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, the Ivory Coast, Liberia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zaire.  Plants produce small, pale greenish yellow coloured flowers, which have reflexed petals and from a distance look rather leaf-like in their appearance.

This is a miniature orchid species whose natural home is growing in amongst trees and other plants, in damp humid rainforests, where competition for space is great and plants grow close to one another, growing cheek by jowl. 

Aerangis biloba is a small sized, epiphytic orchid species, which is endemic to Africa, where this plant grows on the branches of trees that grow in humid forests and woodlands.

Before I grew Aerangis biloba myself, I was previously under the impression that Aerangis biloba would only grow in very low light levels, in very shaded conditions, however, I have found that Aerangis biloba will happily grow under bright light as well as in partial shade. 

Angraecum distichum is a miniature sized, epiphytic orchid species, which can be found growing upon trees and plants in a shaded locations in areas of rainforest.  This orchid species can be discovered growing upon trees, which are found growing over a wide range of tropical locations, from the Congo to Angola, Rwanda, and across Africa.

Angraecum distichum favours very humid growing conditions.
