Beetroot ‘Chioggia’

Family: Amaranthaceae

Beta vulgaris ‘Chioggia’, is more commonly known as beetroot ‘Chioggia’.  This is a beetroot cultivar with a pink-red outer skin.  If you cut beetroot ‘Chioggia’ in half you’ll see that this beetroot has concentric rings of pink and white flesh inside.  For more information on growing beetroot, please click here.
