Geum ‘Totally Tangerine’

Family: Rosaceae

Geum ‘Totally Tangerine’ is a hardy perennial that produces these loose clusters of saucer shaped flowers, from late spring until autumn.  For best results, remove faded flowering stems, cutting the whole stem right back to the ground, as the flowers fade.  This will promote the production of new flowers.  This is a super plant if you want to encourage insects into your garden, bees and other pollinating insects, feed on Geum ‘Totally Tangerine’ flowers’ pollen.

Geum ‘Totally Tangerine’ grows to a maximum of 90cm (3ft) tall and 50cm (1.5ft) wide.  Plant this Geum in any well drained soil, siting your plant in a sunny position.  You’ll be glad to know that this is a sterile Geum, it won’t set seed around your garden, like many other plants from this genus.
