Family: Iridaceae
Iris ‘Pink Charm’ is a tall, bearded iris that produces scented flowers during May and June. If I was naming this iris, I’d be more likely to christen this plant with the name of ‘Peach Charm’ or even ‘Orange Charm’ as opposed to pink, as the plants produce these charming blooms with pale peach-orange coloured fall petals, which are complimented by softer peachy pink coloured standard petals and an orange beard.
Iris ‘Pink Charm’ grows to 60cm (2ft) tall. Plant in free draining soils, in full sunshine. Choose a position where your plants can bake in the warmth of the sunshine and don’t plant too deeply. Propagate by division every few years.
