Lathyrus odoratus ‘Alison Valentini’

Family: Fabaceae

Lathyrus odoratus ‘Alison Valentini’ is a crimson flowered, Non-Tendril type of Sweet Pea.

Non-Tendril Sweet Pea cultivars produce pinnate leaves, with a greater number of leaflets than other Sweet Pea cultivars, but no tendrils.  These Sweet Pea plants cannot anchor themselves securely, so the plants need to be regularly secured in place with metal sweet pea rings or twine as they grow.

Lathyrus odoratus ‘Alison Valentini’ was introduced by Robert Place.
