Lathyrus odoratus ‘Frances Kate’

Family: Fabaceae

Lathyrus odoratus ‘Frances Kate’ is a Spencer sweet pea cultivar with flowers that feature a deep blue stripe, on a white ground.  This is quite a striking flower that makes a real impact in the garden.  A tall, climbing plant this sweet pea will need a wigwam, an obelisk or a support as plants will grow to around 2.4m (8ft) tall, depending on your soil, situation, and the plant’s growing conditions.

Lathyrus odoratus ‘Frances Kate’ is an attractive sweet pea that was raised and introduced by Roger Parsons in 2011.  Roger named this lovely sweet pea for his daughter, Frances Kate.
