Lathyrus odoratus ‘Queen of Hearts’

Family: Fabaceae

Lathyrus odoratus ‘Queen of Hearts’ is a Spencer Sweet Pea cultivar.  This is a pretty sweet pea, its particular colouration is known as a pink stripe on a white ground – which means that this sweet pea’s ivory coloured petals feature a pretty pink picotee edge and pink coloured veins.

If you’re growing ‘Queen of Hearts’ you’ll need to provide your plants with a wigwam or a trellis.  Plants will grow up to around 2.4m (8ft) tall, depending on your soil, situation, and the plant’s growing conditions.

Lathyrus odoratus ‘Queen of Hearts’ was raised by Roy Tullett; this sweet pea cultivar was first introduced by Unwins in 2004.
