Lupinus ‘Persian Slipper’

Family: Papilionaceae

Lupinus ‘Persian’ Slipper’ is quite a compact lupin.  ‘Persian Slipper’ produces spires of blue-purple flowers, which grow to around 60cm (2ft) tall.  Each pea shaped bloom is touched with an ivory coloured highlight; the overall effect being very attractive.

Lupinus ‘Persian Slipper’ is a hardy perennial plant.  Grow in full sunshine or partial shade, in any moist, well-drained soil.

Cut back your plant’s flower spikes as they fade, to encourage a second flush of flowers.
