Family: Amaryllidaceae
Narcissus ‘Hillstar’ is a jonquil daffodil cultivar, from Division 7 of the Royal Horticultural Society’s Classification System.
Each Narcissus ‘Hillstar’ flowering stem produces two to three scented flowers, that open with a bright yellow colour, and fade to white as the flower ages. The flower colour fades from yellow to white from the daffodil’s trumpet and centre and spreads outwards, so that the vibrant yellow colour highlights each of the blooms and the centre of each flower is white. Narcissus ‘Hillstar’ creates an eye catching display in the garden.
In the UK, Narcissus ‘Hillstar’ usually flowers during April and May.
