Phalaenopsis parishii alba

Family: Orchidaceae

Phalaenopsis parishii alba is the white form of Phalaenopsis parishii.

I have one Phalaenopsis parishii alba specimen growing inside my Orchidarium.  I purchased this miniature orchid in early spring 2017.  Unfortunately, after I made this purchase, the parcel my Phalaenopsis parishii alba specimen was sent in, was delayed in the post, adding an additional couple of weeks to the already lengthy journey my poor plant had travelled.  So, by the time I received this plant it was in a really poor condition.  You can see this Phalaenopsis parishii alba plant when it was first introduced to my Orchidarium, via this link, here.

Happily, despite its rocky start, this Phalaenopsis parishii alba specimen eventually flowered inside this Orchidarium.  You can see this Phalaenopsis parishii alba specimen in bloom and find out about this orchid species’ fragrance, in this update.

This Orchidarium update shows more photographs of this same Phalaenopsis parishii alba specimen in bud, flower, and leaf.

I have a second Phalaenopsis parishii alba specimen growing inside my Rainforest Terrarium.  You can follow this Phalaenopsis parishii alba specimen’s growth and development via this link, here.
