Rosa ‘Madame Isaac Pereire’

Family: Rosaceae

Rosa ‘Madame Isaac Pereire’ is a a very special rose, which was introduced in the 1880s.  This is a repeat flowering bourbon rose is a delight!  Its fuchsia-raspberry pink coloured blooms are large, sumptuous, and perfectly formed.  Each flower produces a powerful fragrance which really is lovely, I think of the scent of Rosa ‘Madame Isaac Pereire’ as being like the best rose perfume.  It’s the fragrance I dream of when I think of roses on a perfectly warm summer’s day.  I am certain that Rosa ‘Madame Isaac Pereire’ is as popular today, as it was when this rose was first released for sale.  Unlike many old roses, Rosa ‘Madame Isaac Pereire’ is a repeat flowering rose, which blooms from May or early June, until October.
