Rosa ‘Rosy Cushion’ is a small shrub rose, that was bred by Peter Ilsink, and launched in 1979.

Sadly ‘Rosy Cushion’ is not a fragrant rose, but this rose has a great selling point in that its flowers are accessible; these blooms provide food for bees, butterflies, and other pollinating insects.  This is a repeat flowering rose, that blooms abundantly, from late spring or early summer, until the cooler weather arrives in autumn.

Rosa ‘Rosy Cushion’ grows to a height of approximately 1m (3ft).  Covering an area of around 1.5m (5ft), depending of course, on the plant’s soil and growing conditions.  Plant Rosa ‘Rosy Cushion’ in any moist, but well-drained soil, in a position where your plant can enjoy basking in the warmth of the sunshine.
