Rosa ‘St Ethelburga’

Family: Rosaceae

Rosa ‘St Ethelburga’ (Beabimbo) is a Modern Classic Rose, which was bred by Peter Beales, of Peter Beales Roses.  Plants were introduced, for the first time in 2003.  Peter Beales named Rosa ‘St Ethelburga’ especially for the St Ethelburga’s Centre for Reconciliation and Peace, in Bishop’s Gate, London.  This shrub rose grows to around 1.2m (4ft) tall and around 90cm (3ft) wide, depending of course on the plant’s particular growing conditions.

‘St Etherlburga’ roses produce large, pale pink coloured, double rose flowers, which are beautifully fragrant.  This is a modern, repeat flowering rose, which blooms in cycles, from early summer until autumn.

If you have a large planter and a top quality growing medium, Rosa ‘St Ethelburga’ makes a super container plant.  This rose prefers growing in a warm and sunny spot, in any well-drained, but moisture retentive soil.
