Rumohra species

Family: Dryopteridaceae

Countries: Galapagos Islands, New Zealand

This miniature, evergreen Rumohra fern species originates from the Galapagos Islands and New Zealand.

This species of Rumohra thrives when it’s grown in a very humid environment ideally from 70-90% RH.  I found this Rumohra fern flourished growing in temperatures from 18C (56F) to 25C (77F).  My plant grew inside a terrarium where this Rumohra enjoyed diffused, filtered light.  This attractive fern grows from 10-15cm (4-6″) tall, making it an ideal plant for a terrarium, vivarium, or bottle garden.
