Tomato ‘Big Daddy’

Family: Solanaceae

Tomato ‘Big Daddy’, as you’d expect, produces big tomatoes!  ‘Big Daddy’ tomato plants produce beautiful beefsteak tomatoes, these fruits are so attractive, they would make a rather delightful subject for a painting or other art composition.

As well as looking good, ‘Big Daddy’ tomatoes taste good too!  ‘Big Daddy’ tomatoes can be grown successfully in either a glasshouse or outdoors, in the UK, during the summertime.

Tomato ‘Big Daddy’ was bred by Dr Paul Thomas from Burpee Seeds.  If you’re interested in growing tomatoes, you’ll find more detailed articles about growing tomatoes (including my Tomato Trials), here.
