Tomato ‘Green Envy’

Family: Solanaceae

Tomato ‘Green Envy’ is an unusual tomato hybrid; ‘Green Envy’ plants produce plum shaped cherry tomatoes, which are dark green in colour, ripening to a fresh, slightly lighter green colour.  The appearance and taste of these tomatoes will brighten up salads, salsas, and any other tomato dishes!  ‘Green Envy’ tomatoes can be eaten raw, fresh from the plant, or cooked – just as you would use any other tomato.

Tomato ‘Green Envy’ is an indeterminate tomato hybrid, which was bred by Henk van der Velde, from Burpee Seeds.  If you’re interested in growing tomatoes, you’ll find more detailed articles about growing tomatoes (including my Tomato Trials), here.
