I was very excited when BiOrb contacted me to see if I was interested in trialling their new BiOrb AIR 30. This is a smaller sized terrarium than the BiOrb AIRs you’ve seen in my earlier BiOrb AIR Trials (see my Miniature Orchid BiOrb AIR Trial, my White Orchid BiOrb AIR Trial, my Madagascar BiOrb AIR Trial, and my Long-term BiOrb AIR Trial).

The BiOrbAir is a specialised terrarium, which was designed by Barry Reynolds. I planted up my BiOrbAir terrarium on 25th September 2014. As this was the first time I had planted a BiOrbAir terrarium; I chose a variety of different plants and ferns to see how they would grow inside the controlled environment of this terrarium.
It’s not always easy to navigate inside a terrarium or bottle garden, but having the right tools makes things much more straightforward, and fun rather than frustrating.
The plants inside my BiOrbAir have so far received very little attention since I planted them. Any work I have undertaken has been documented in my long term review of my BiOrbAir terrarium.
Removal of terrarium pestsRecently I have been having problems with a family of woodlice, who were unintentionally installed inside my BiOrbAir terrarium, when I placed a piece of real wood inside my BiOrbAir, as a decorative feature, when I initially planted up the terrarium.
