It’s difficult to predict what our Great British weather will deliver from one week to the next, but there are beneficial activities we can do now to make the most of whatever conditions we experience in our gardens and allotments this August.

Vine weevils are a real pain, especially if you’ve got lots of container grown plants. The adult vine weevils damage plant leaves, leaving a notch-shaped, irregular edge to the leaves, resulting in a rather ragged looking, tatty plant.
